Secondary data reported in the tourism satellite account (TSA) were employed to estimate the Cobb-Douglas production function and calculate the Solow index, which represents TFPG in this article. The results showed that prior to the onset of COVID-19 (2010-2018), TFPG in the tourism industry had shown improvement. There were 4 sectors which found TFPG constant. However, since 2019, with the advent of COVID-19, TFPG has declined across all sectors. Therefore, the policy recommendations are (1) to provide financial support for rapid recovery and (2) to integrate both general and specific policies to enhance the resilience of the Thai tourism industry.
2024-01-22T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 SOCIAL SCIENCES RESEARCH AND ACADEMIC JOURNAL https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JSSRA/article/view/267789 The Results of the Study of Life Skills of Students at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Sakon Nakhon Campus That Received Learning Management Flipped Classroom Design Combined with the Use of R-C-A Questioning Techniques in Life and Social Quality Development Course 2023-10-19T13:31:55+07:00 Ratchataporn Boonkong [email protected] Songyuth Tonwan [email protected]
The purpose of this research was to study the results of life skill of students at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan in Sakon Nakhon Campus that received learning management Flipped classroom design combined with the use of R-C-A questioning techniques in Life and Social Quality Development Course. A significant majority of participants, namely 87.30%, accurately recognized personal protective equipment such as masks utilized by individuals affected with a disease as being classified as infectious waste. A majority of respondents, specifically over 80.00%, expressed consensus regarding the environmental advantages associated with the segregation of infectious waste, disinfection of testing equipment, and utilization of designated bins for disposal purposes. A majority of respondents, specifically 80.70%, expressed the belief that the utilization of Antigen Test Kits (ATKs) had a substantial impact on the escalation of infectious waste. Nevertheless, it was apparent that there were misconceptions among the participants. Specifically, a significant majority of 84.00% held the belief that separated infectious waste did not necessitate any additional treatment. Additionally, a considerable number of individuals were under the mistaken impression that fabric surgical masks degraded in a safe manner. The mean knowledge score was 0.83 ± 0.37, indicating a satisfactory level of comprehension. However, it is important to note that there are various myths within the treatment of infectious waste. The present study provides significant insights that might inform future research and establish a fundamental framework for developing methods for managing infectious waste in comparable areas.
2024-01-22T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 SOCIAL SCIENCES RESEARCH AND ACADEMIC JOURNAL https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JSSRA/article/view/268711 The Development and Group Formation of Thai Herbal Farmers into the Industrial Sector in Accordance with Policies and Development Plans for the Herbal City in Phitsanulok Province: A Case Study of the Community Enterprise in Cultivating and Processing Medicinal Herbs, Thap Yai Chiang Subdistrict, Phrom Phiram District, with the Hmong Herbal Planting Group in Nakhon Thai District 2023-12-20T13:36:44+07:00 Wasan Pounpunwong [email protected]
The objective of this research were: 1) to study the development and group formation of Thai herbal farmers into the industrial sector under the policies and development plans of the Herbal City in Phitsanulok Province and 2) to explore the similarities and differences between successful and unsuccessful areas in developing herbal cultivation in Phitsanulok Province. A total of 400 employees of public organizations were targeted for this study and the data were analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).

The study found that the structural equation model was consistent with the empirical data. Accordingly, the Chi-Square value was 55.775 with degrees of freedom (di) = 46.0 Chi-Square was 55.775 df= 46.0 Sig, = 0.153 CMIN/df. =1.212 GFI =0,982 AGFI-=0.954 NFI-0.987 IFI-0.998 CFI-0.998 RMR=0.009 RMSEA=0.023 thus accepting the hypothesis that intellectual capital has a positive effect on learning organizations with knowledge management serving as a mediator variable. The objective was to compare two types of financial donation behavior: 1) Making an on-the-spot decision to donate upon encountering a donation request (unplanned) and 2) Making an intentional and pre-planned donation. Data were collected through questionnaires and a total of 458 sets of responses were analyzed using logistic regression.

The study findings indicated that females had a lower likelihood of making unplanned donation decisions compared to males. Additionally, individuals from Generation Y have a lower likelihood of making donation decisions when faced with a solicitation compared to those from Generation X. The study highlights that individuals who donate money through donation boxes often engage in unplanned donations whereas those who donate money through banking applications or cash accounts are typically individuals who have planned or intended to donate in advance. Furthermore, if individuals are aware that donating money through electronic donation systems can lead to tax deductions, there is an increased likelihood of deciding to donate money, even without prior planning. An interesting point from this study is that individuals with higher incomes and those who frequently donate upon encountering a donation box are more likely to donate, even without prior planning. Therefore, non-profit organizations can apply the findings of this study to formulate marketing strategies.
