The primary objectives of the application are to digitize information previously conveyed verbally within the Piyamit Community in Betong, ensuring its accessibility to interested parties and the younger generation. The application also serves to systematically store this information, alleviating concerns about its potential loss over time. Additionally, it aims to foster a sense of ownership of local learning resources within the community. The Piyamit Community boasts a rich repository of indigenous herbs used in traditional medicine. Consequently, there is a need for classifying these local herbs to facilitate learning and usage. The development of the application incorporates ontology, a technology that facilitates the linking of lexical search and categorization of information. Furthermore, Natural Language Processing theory in the Thai language, text classification, and machine learning technologies are applied. As a result, Piyamit Herb has been successfully developed as a comprehensive system for storing and presenting data in Betong, Thailand. The application addresses the imperative to preserve information shared orally by local elders, ensuring the transmission of valuable knowledge passed down from their ancestors.
Kwanrutai SAELIM, Suppamas RATTANAPIPAT, Muhammad PU, Amart SULONG, Sothana VICHARUEANG, Lakjaree SPHANURATTANA Copyright (c) 2024 Authors http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PSAKUIJIR/article/view/268407 Wed, 24 Jan 2024 00:00:00 +0700 THE COMMUNICATION STRATEGY OF THE VILLAGE HEAD IN WASTE MANAGEMENT IN INDONESIA https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PSAKUIJIR/article/view/269281
The waste problem is still one of the important environmental problems in Indonesia. Waste production continues to increase from time to time. The main reason is that it is not managed well, amidst population growth and high consumption. Overcoming the waste problem cannot be done by the government alone, synergy and communication are needed so that all parties can be involved. This research aims to determine the communication strategy of sub-district heads in waste management efforts. The type of research used was descriptive qualitative by taking 4 informants who were selected using purposive sampling techniques so that the informants had knowledge and information about the problem being studied. The results of the research show that the more effective communication strategy carried out by sub-district heads is the strategy of redundancy or delivering messages repeatedly through outreach in the form of education and information. Apart from that, the communication strategy in waste management must identify communication targets, choose the right communication media, ensure the purpose of the communication message and the role of the communicator in communicating.
Muhammad Rais Rahmat RAZAK, Iin SEPTIANI, Ahmad MUSTANIR, Andi Astinah ADNAN, Sofyan B Copyright (c) 2024 Authors http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PSAKUIJIR/article/view/269281 Fri, 16 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0700 DEVELOPING A COURSE MODEL OF YOUTH INNOVATORS UNDER THE PRINCIPLE OF STEAM 4 INNOVATOR TO PROMOTE STABILITY IN THAILAND’S SOUTHERN BORDER AREAS https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PSAKUIJIR/article/view/268441
This research aims to study the primary knowledge and skills required to be innovators, develop a course model for youth innovators and assess student satisfaction with the course. Hence, this paper aims to present a review of the relevant literature in relation to what makes the leading man in Korean dramas “Prince Charming” that most viewers swoon over them. It seeks to discuss the vigor and rigors of what makes a leading man an “ideal man” based on the existing literature and insights gained based on the authors’ observations as viewers of Korean dramas. Along with the previous findings that have been surveyed in this paper, physical changes or transformation can be added as a factor in creating a “Prince Charming”, at least in the Korean drama context. This is observed when the Prince Charming adapts his status to that of the leading woman, creating the “attainability” image as reflected in more casual wardrobes and informal (i.e. gel-free) hairstyles sported by the leading men. In such cases, the Prince Charming becomes more attainable and more human, rather than an unattainable, ideal being. Another aspect to consider is that the female lead is not generally presented as a damsel in distress anymore that is in need of being rescued in the traditional fairy tales, but that the leading women have their own careers, have strong personalities and have their own convictions, despite having a (still) unequal status with that of the leading men.
Ivory C.
