Tattoo: One of the occupations of body art
https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/Phikun/article/view/281953

Parents and the public always ask this question to art students: "What do you do for a living after graduation?" This is because, from the perspective of their parents, siblings, and close relatives, the best occupation is "government employee." This belief has been deeply ingrained in the thoughts of older generations since the past, even though there are currently a variety of occupations such as becoming freelancers or being self-employed that can be used for career advancement.
Students who have a great affection for the arts study in various institutions because they need to acquire knowledge and skills to enhance their intelligence and ability, even if they do not know what they want to do to secure their future.
For this reason, being a tattooist is one of the occupations that art graduates use to earn a living as freelancers and self-employed. They conduct their businesses with body tattoos on hands, arms, legs, chest, back, shoulders, forehead, etc. Thai society nowadays is different from the past. We have a more positive attitude toward people who have tattoos. Thus, at present, tattoos are popular among young Thais and foreigners, both men and women.
Mai tatiya

This qualitative research primarily aimed to develop a comprehensive communication innovation model for managing lifelong learning within a digital open university system, specifically designed to promote the development of learners' specific professional competencies amidst dynamic global changes. The research process began with a thorough document analysis of policies, educational management guidelines, and best practices in professional competency development from various credible sources, including university-level documents, relevant governmental agencies, and international organizations shaping educational trends. Concurrently, a systematic online literature review was conducted to synthesize existing knowledge, concepts, theories, and case studies pertaining to communication innovation, lifelong learning, and specialized skill development, both in Thailand and internationally. This was complemented by a detailed content analysis of current communication media utilized by Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU), such as printed materials, websites, videos, and online platforms, to evaluate the effectiveness of their communication approaches in fostering learning.

The findings unequivocally indicated that the current lifelong learning system in digital open universities faces significant challenges in integrating communication innovations appropriately to cater to the diverse needs of learners, particularly adults and working professionals requiring upskilling or reskilling for specific occupations. Learners explicitly expressed a strong demand for the development of crucial competencies, including digital skills, systems thinking, and professional communication skills. Synthesizing these insights, the researcher developed the "C.L.I.M.B." model—an innovative conceptual framework comprising five key components 1) Communication Innovation, 2) Lifelong Learning Framework, 3) Individualized Learning Path, 4) Motivation and Mindset for Growth, and 5) Bridging to Professional Competency. This newly developed model underwent rigorous expert validation, yielding an Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) score of 0.89. This high score signifies the model's exceptional suitability for practical application in enhancing lifelong learning management within digital open universities.
ธิติพัฒน์ เอี่ยมนิรันดร์

https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/Phikun/article/view/274325

This research aimed to promote computer applications and skills among students at Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and evaluate the results of such skill promotion. The research methodology for this study includes task reviews to develop research questions based on routine to research (R2R), planning training to promote computer applications and skills for a target group of 100 people divided into two groups of 52 and 48, evaluating learning outcomes before and after skill development using a T-Test (One-Sample T-Test) and gauging satisfaction with activity using averages divided into 5 levels. The study's findings demonstrated. (1) The task evaluation identified the research issue and the research process through planning, skill development, pre- and post-learning assessments, and process monitoring. (2) A skill evaluation of Group 1 (File Management, MS Word, Circular Notice, and MS PowerPoint), Group 2 (MS Excel), the combined two groups revealed that all groups had improved scores following skill promotion. The pre-and post-correlation correlations were 0.72, 0.83, and 0.77, respectively. The t-value analysis revealed that skill promotion led to participants' higher skills at a statistical significance of .05. (3) Members of all groupings, the degree of overall satisfaction was high, and there was also a high level of satisfaction with each issue. Here, the findings of the study demonstrate that skill development significantly affects skill acquisition. The development of routine research yields ideas and information to raise the standard and effectiveness of work further.
นายจิรพงษ์ เทียนแขก
