This research paper is both quantitative and qualitative. On the quantitative aspect, the paper surveys 300 samples of youths aged 18-25 with a bachelor degree, whom are known as Generation Y, in Bangkok. On the qualitative aspect, the researcher conducts a focus group of 10 samples with comprehensive interviews. The results are 1. Perspectives of Thai youths on the contemporary arts vary greatly. 2. Youths tend to spend 3-4 times more on foreign goods and services than Thai ones. 3.
