SUCCESSFUL RESEARCH PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Abstract

      Research project management is a significant role of researchers that should conduct research activities systematically in order to achieve the objectives of the research project within the framework of budget, personnel, and time. The critical principles use for research management as follows: 1) setting management goals, 2) research project analysis, 3) planning and implementation, 4) participation and collaboration of relevant parties, 5) building a robust research team, 6) self-direction of researchers, and 7) communicating the progressive report to relevant parties. As for the process of research management, there are three essential steps: research project planning, implementation of the research plan, and assessing the research project. However, successful research management techniques should cover five items, namely: the research activity management, self-management of researchers, research team management, budget management and time management.
