THE LEARNINING MANAGEMENT OF ACTIVE LEARNING USING PROJECT-BASED LEARNING IN GSC157 (CRITICAL THINKING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING) SUBJECT

Abstract

            This research aimed to study achievement of students enrolled in GSC157 (Critical Thinking and Problem Solving) in Academic Year 2022 and students' satisfaction towards active learning management using project-based learning model. The samples in this research selected by purposive sampling were 306 students enrolled in GSC157 (Critical Thinking and Problem Solving) in Academic Year 2022. The instruments used in the experiment and data collection were 1) an active learning lesson plan using project-based learning model, 2) a test in GSC157 (Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving), and 3) a satisfaction assessment form to manage learning in an online format. The statistics used in data analysis were frequency distribution percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results of the study revealed that 1) the learning achievement of most of the students (236 students, representing 77.12%) had academic achievement in A level and 2) the satisfaction of the students towards the active learning management using the project-based learning model as a whole was valuable at the highest level (average=4.57).
