Disaster Management Efficiency of the Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Seka District, Bueng Kan Province

Abstract

The research purposes were to study and to compare the disaster management efficiency of the Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Seka District, Bueng Kan Province classified by the personal factors. The population was the personnel under the jurisdiction of 7 Subdistrict Administrative Organizations of Seka District, Bueng Kan Province; the sample group was the 217 personnel. The research instrument was the rating scale questionnaire. The data analysis statistics were the percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test (Independent samples), one - way ANOVA, and test for pairwise differences by Scheffe’s method.

          The research findings were:            

1. The personnel under the jurisdiction of Subdistrict Administrative Organizations of Seka District, Bueng Kan Province had the opinions on the disaster management efficiency of the Subdistrict Administrative Organizations in Seka Distric,t Bueng Kan Province found the overall was at a high level; the descending mean were: the rehabilitation aspect, the preparedness aspect, the disaster response aspect, and the prevention and mitigation aspect, respectively.            2.The personnel under the jurisdiction of Subdistrict Administrative Organizations of Seka District, Bueng Kan Province when gender, education level and work experience differed found the opinions on the disaster management efficiency did not different.
