Physical Environment for Public Libraries in the 21stCentury

Abstract
The article presented the content concerning management of physical environment of public libraries in the 21stcentury, which currently their functional Improvement and development gains attention from information service institute, academicians, students, as well as librarians. Content of definition, type of features, including concepts utilized in developing physical environment of public libraries were presented. The study found that the 21st century public library had to provide learning facilities.A clear identity had to be established so that it could attract people with similar interests, whether children, adults, the elderly, as well as people with disabilities, to meet and learn by making full use of library spaces and resources.
