Factors Affecting Achievement Motives in Working of Hotel Service Employees and Apartment services in Bangkok

Abstract
This research is a study of factors affecting the motivation of hotel and apartment service staff in Bangkok. The researchers believed that the factors affecting the performance of employees have changed in recent time. The objectives were to study the factors affecting the motivation of hotel and apartment service staff in Bangkok and to study the level of motivation of hotel and apartment service staff in Bangkok. The study employed a quantitative research method with a sample of 353 employees working in hotel and apartment service roles in Bangkok. The data collection tool was a questionnaire, and the statistical methods used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis. The research findings revealed that most respondents were female, aged between 31 and 40 years, and the majority were married. They had between 6 and 10 years of work experience, most held non-supervisory positions, earned a monthly salary between 15,001 and 20,000 baht, and held a bachelor's degree. 2) Regarding motivational factors, the respondents rated both motivational factors and hygiene factors were at a high level. 3) The level of achievement motivation among hotel and apartment service employees was also found to be high, 4) while the factor related to language use was rated at a moderate level . 5) The results of hypothesis testing using statistics found that gender, age, salary rate, and education level of the respondents were significantly related to the level of achievement motivation of hotel and apartment service staff in Bangkok overall at a statistical level of 0.05. Marital status, length of service, and position of the respondents were not significantly related to the level of achievement motivation of hotel and apartment service staff in Bangkok overall. The results of the research study found that motivational factors and hygiene factors were related to the level of achievement motivation of hotel and apartment service staff in Bangkok overall. If we consider the theory of job satisfaction, it will be found that the level of satisfaction of the workers depends on how much their needs are met. If they are met a lot, they will be more determined to work. If they are met a little, their determination to work will be less.
