The sample were 200 tourists who had visited the Chian Yai Floating Market, selected based on Yamane formula, and 50 merchants, vendors and people involved in the Chian Yai Floating Market were selected with purposive sampling. Data were collected by questionnaire and were analyzed using statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test.<br />The results of the research showed that the overall participation of merchants and other stakeholders of Chian Yai Floating Market was at a high level. In each aspect, it showed that the acknowledgment of problems, management planning and operation of the work were at a high level, and the behaviors and attitudes of tourists, opinions in each aspect, were at a high level. For the guidelines for the development of the Chian Yai Floating Market, it is suggested that the involved persons should be acknowledged of problems and given opportunity to provide opinions on the issues; to participate in planning, suggesting rules and regulations of Chian Yai Floating Market and taking part in the selection process of merchants into the market.</p> ER -
