This study research and focus are referred to the 6<sup>th</sup> books of Tommayantee’s Historical Novels on the Rattanakosin Period which are: “Tawipop vol. 1-2” “Romchat vol.1-2” “Kukamm vol.1-2” by using Linguistic Strategies in Discourse of Jantima Angkapanitkit (2018) for analyzing the text. The conceptual frame work for social reflections relies on Titatita Nakkasem (2002) and Rossarin Didbanjong (2007). The result of the research has found out that there are 3 types of language strategies in Tommayantee’s Historical Novels as shown here: Lexical Strategies which is the name and naming, system of address, referencing and using verb forms. Modification Strategy. Discourse-Pragmatic Strategies which are presuppositions, negation, speech acts, metaphor and narrative. In addition, there were found 3 kinds of social and cultural reflections. Firstly, the material reflection value; well-off material, material to express social status and material in daily life. Secondly, life behavior shown both as pleasant and unpleasant. A person’s value that focus on Royal lineage, Buddhist Monks. Thirdly, the reflection of belief: Buddhism, Christianity, Astrological belief, occultism and prophetic signs. Superstition belief, dream belief and reflection of Thai tradition which concern about birth, wedding and death.</p> ER -
