To align with this act, this academic article comparing between the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562, and the Official Information Act, B.E. 2540. The study also compared the basic information of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union with the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562. This requires logistics businesses have to adjust the flow of personal data within the company along with their procedures in order to comply with the law, particularly regarding the knowledge and understanding of personal data security management processes in operational activities. Likewise, the use of technology to support operational processes will help the company create a framework for high-standard operations. This pressure poses a challenge for buffet shabu restaurant owners in Thailand who will have to face various crises. The objective of this academic article is to present guidelines entrepreneurs reducing management costs by applying Lean Management principles, specifically the 8 wastes consisting of defect, inventory, overproduction, waiting, non-utilized talent, transportation, motion, and extra-processing. However, applying the principles, it is necessary to define clear problems, analyze them, and appropriately assess the problems statistically. The author raises the impact of changes resulting from the advancement of information technology systems on all aspects of people's lives to discuss how people can adapt and cope with these changes. People in today's world, especially the youth, must be prepared to learn new things and be lifelong learners. They must develop the skills for the 21st century world, especially life skills that correspond to moral and ethical development. This skill development will help encourage individuals to have virtuous minds, thoughts, and life features, and to be able to live peacefully with others amid diverse societies and cultures. According to the analysis of moral aspects, such ethics correspond to the state of mind and behavior of a person. The author uses psychological theories, namely psychoanalytic, cognitive development, and social learning theories, to interpret that a person's mental state and behavior are fundamental to enhancing and encouraging that person to develop moral and ethical competency. Of levels of Inputs, Level 1: Quoted prices in active markets for similar assets or liabilities (Market price or market closing price), Level 2: Observable data from the market, such as quoted prices for similar assets or liabilities, and Level 3: data which cannot be significantly observed therefore, requires entity estimation including measuring the fair value of unmarketable investments, providing reliability, and disclosing fair value hierarchy to enhance the credibility of measurement information. Reviewing anything can be done according to the desire of those who want to share their experiences and express their opinions through social media. Reviews are utilized as a marketing and advertising tool that has a significant impact on consumer decisions. However, there are limitations to reviews, and Thai reviewers should be aware of the laws that govern their actions. There are several laws that Thai reviewers should be aware of, including: (1) The Penal Code, (2) the Civil and Commercial Code, which contain significant clauses that allow for the expression of opinions that could result in defamation or infringement. (3) The Food Act, (4) the Cosmetics Act, (5) the Food and Drug Administration Regulations regarding the Food Advertisement Announcement, which regulate the description of product properties that could be illegal and the requirements for obtaining permission. And, (6) the Computer-Related Crime Act, which contains important provisions that regulate the distribution of distorted, false, or untrue information through computer systems. Reviewers who violate these laws may be subject to fines or imprisonment.”<br>The following recommendations for reviewers are provided in this article regarding social responsibility: (1) When using social media, information should be thoroughly filtered and vetted. (2) Caution should be exercised when presenting content that could easily mislead people. This research aims to study the success factors in implementing information technology to enhance the potential of accountants in the digital age. The study utilized a questionnaire to gather data from a sample group of accountants in accounting offices of Lampang province, totaling 105 participants. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression techniques.<br>The research findings reveal that success factors in implementing information technology to enhance the potential of accountants in the digital age, ranked from most to least significant, include accountant skills development, acceptance of the use of technology, operating environment, accountant ethics, and the modernity of technology. Notably, the development of accountant skills has a significant impact on improving operational efficiency, achieving organizational goals, and ensuring the quality of work. This study is beneficial for accountants and organizations, serving as a guide for the development of accountants and the successful integration of advanced information technology into organizational practices.</p> Puangthong Wangraj Piyada Netsuwan Copyright (c) 2024 Payap University Journal 2024-06-28 2024-06-28 34 1 1 16 10.14456/pyuj.2024.1 Effect of Technology Acceptance User Trust and Perceived Risk Toward Consumer Cryptocurrency Investment Decision in Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/pyu/article/view/273994 <p>The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the investment behavior in digital currencies of consumers in Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province, and 2) to investigate the factors influencing investment decisions in digital currencies of consumers in Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province. Data from 385 respondents were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple linear regression methods. The results of the study revealed that the majority of cryptocurrency investors become acquainted with digital currencies primarily through recommendations from friends or acquaintances. Most of them had over one year of investment experience in cryptocurrencies, with returns being the primary factor influencing their decision to invest. The main source of investment capital was savings, with the largest investment amounting to 40,615.16 baht. Bitcoin was the most preferred cryptocurrency for consumers. Furthermore, placing the utmost importance on the technology acceptance factor, followed by user trust and risk perception. Technology acceptance was a significant predictor of investment decisions in digital currencies among the consumers in Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province, with 80% statistical significance at the 0.05 level, and a determination coefficient of 0.64.</p> Onanong Chaonchom Kallaya Jairak Korravee Chai-amonphaisal Copyright (c) 2024 Payap University Journal 2024-06-28 2024-06-28 34 1 17 33 10.14456/pyuj.2024.2 Quality of Work life of Instructors in Private Universities: Law Concerning the Protection for Workers in Private Universities in Thailand Dimension https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/pyu/article/view/273995 <p>This research studied the relationship between the law concerning the work protection of workers in private higher education institutions and the quality of life of instructors in private higher education institutions. The sample size comprised 275 full-time instructors engaged in teaching roles within private higher education institutions. Descriptive data were analyzed, and hypotheses were tested to examine the association between the legislation and the quality of life experienced by instructors. The findings revealed that the law concerning the work protection and remuneration of workers in private higher education institutions did not affect the quality of life of instructors at a statistically significant level of 0.05 and 0.01. However, it was observed that the average monthly income factor significantly influenced the quality of life of teachers at the 0.05 level. The researchers suggested that institutions consider the workload assignment by the essence of the Ministerial Regulations on Work Protection and Remuneration of Employees in Private Higher Education Institutions, 2006; the Institute shall have the tools to take care of the welfare of instructors appropriately.</p> Nawakarn Sirarujanon Taien Layraman Copyright (c) 2024 Payap University Journal 2024-06-28 2024-06-28 34 1 34 52 10.14456/pyuj.2024.3 Mindfulness Practice: The Unchosen Good Thing https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/pyu/article/view/273996 <p>This study aims to investigate the points of view that cause students not to engage in mindfulness practice. The informants are five undergraduate students who enrolled in the 2020 and 2021 academic years and used to practice mindfulness in the past but not now. The data were collected through in-depth interviews and were analyzed and interpreted accordingly. The study results indicate that 1) the informants acknowledge the advantages of mindfulness, 2) they have a negative feeling and attitude towards mindfulness practice because of a rigid practical experience as well as being berated and forced by the school and family, and 3) there is lack of mindfulness practice understanding because they believe that mindfulness practice has fixed rules, procedures and methods. Occasionally, the formalized practice brings pain and tiredness and consumes daily time. It also affects the family, economy, and society. This research aimed to explore alcohol consumption behavior and study the relationship between personal factors and the alcohol consumption behavior of people living in semi-urban communities in Ubon Ratchathani Province. The study area was Kham Khwang Subdistrict, Warin Chamrap District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The sample consisted of 207 people, and multi-stage sampling was used. The research instrument was a questionnaire on alcohol consumption behavior within the community, with Cronbrach's alpha coefficient 0.74. Data were analyzed by using statistics to find the number of values, percentage frequency, mean score, and standard deviation. The relationship was analyzed using the Chi-square test.<br>The results showed that 71.98% of the sample in the semi-urban community drank alcohol, which is higher than the national average. Those who drank alcohol were 49.76% male and 17.39% female. The purpose was to compare the levels of knowledge and confidence required to apply anatomy and physiology to Thai massage services. The samples were gathered from 22 Thai massage service providers who belonged to Nongpakhrang Thai Massage Association in Muang district, Chiang Mai province. The application of anatomy and physiology knowledge for Thai massage services was evaluated using knowledge and confidence questionnaires in four sets of data collection before, immediately after, one month after, and three months after training. Statistical analysis techniques were used to analyze data, including paired sample T-test, one-way variance analysis for normally distributed data, and Kruskal-Wallis test for non-normally distributed data.<br>The study revealed that the average knowledge and confidence scores for Thai massage providers who applied anatomy and physiology knowledge to their Thai massage services were significantly higher than those before the training at p &lt; 0.05. There were no differences between the average scores of knowledge and confidence immediately after training, after one month of training, and after three months of training when tracking them. This research was quantitative, and the population consisted of 400 customers who purchased services from aesthetic clinics (non-invasive procedures) more than two times per year and returned for the service continuously. The sampling technique was non-probability, and the convenience sampling technique was adopted. A questionnaire was conducted as a research tool. The statistics employed in data analysis were a descriptive analysis, Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.<br>Results found that the overall mean towards marketing factors was high. One factor was rated as the highest, while the remaining factors were rated at a high level as follows: 1) People, 2) Product, 3) Efficiency and Quality, 4) Price, 5) Physical Evidence, 6) Promotion, 7) Process, and 8) Place. Furthermore, the overall average mean toward repurchase intention factors was high. Regarding the predictive equation, the results were as follows: 1) Marketing factors regarding physical evidence, efficiency, quality, promotion, and people influenced repurchase intention in terms of satisfaction. The correlation coefficient was at 0.495, with statistical significance at 0.05 level. 2) Marketing factors regarding efficiency and quality, price, and people influenced repurchase intention in terms of trust. The correlation coefficient was at 0.599 with a statistical significance at 0.05. 3) Marketing factors regarding promotion and people influenced repurchase intention regarding loyalty. This research focused on students of grade 6, Kabinburi 4 Quality Area Education, Prachinburi province. The samples were selected using purposive sampling and divided into two groups: Nine teachers of dramatic arts subject and Twenty students of grade 6, Wadhadsung School, Hatnangkaeo Sub-district, Kabinburi District, Prachinburi Province. The instruments of experience research included infographic media, achievement tests, and satisfaction questionnaire for using infographic media.<br>The research results found that Infographic media in Dramatic Art subject of grade 6 is divided into ten stories: history of Thai performing arts, Ram, Rabam, Ramwong, traditional Thai dancing art, Khon, Thai drama, birth of world dance, elements of dance and the principles for watching the show by using Ricard E. Mayer's media design principles. It was found that the media was efficient according to the criteria of 80.00/83.33. The academic achievement in test scores of students in grade 6 after studying was higher than before, with an average of 25.45/17.50 with statistical significance at the .05 level. This significant improvement in academic achievement is a testament to the effectiveness of the infographic media and a testament to the student's hard work and dedication.
