The education system needed to face gigantic changes. There was a modification in education that changed the teaching and learning style to be online, affecting every learning subject, especially Physical Education. In general, Physical Education must be taught along with actual practices, which very difficult or impossible to execute using online platforms. Therefore, it is a major challenge for the education system to adjust appropriate teaching styles and methods conforming to the situations in order to reduce inequality and maximize the efficiency of the students.

In the 21st century, in order for both teachers and students to easily adapt to changeable and uncertain situations, they need to prepare, accept, and adjust accordingly. The teachers turn from tutors to guiding coaches which changes the type of education to active learning that best suits Physical Education in the current situation. Since it is a teaching process that encourages learners to participate in class, it is crucial to create interactions between instructors and learners. This aims to make the students take the practice actively and appropriately as it is the type of learning that effectively develops high-level thinking skills which will help the learners to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information efficiently in new situations. Concerning the learning atmosphere for the students, making them study with fun, engaging, and progressing their physical development properly are also important. Moreover, creating motivation for interaction between the students and teachers would be beneficial for learning Physical Education and achieving the goal of learning together happily.
Pattama Sengarsai, Toasak Kawjaratwilai Copyright (c) 2023 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/rmutsb-hs/article/view/263284 Wed, 27 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 Success factors and entrepreneurial characteristics of fine dining restaurant business in Bangkok https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/rmutsb-hs/article/view/264326
The restaurant industry has high potential and is closely linked to the tourism industry's growth, but upscale Thai restaurants are still facing business recovery challenges. Data on the waiting time before process improvement was collected from July to September 2022 and found that the average waiting time was 9.67 days, which was slower than the standard set at 7 days. Analyzing the problem of delay in material retrieval and distribution using the 5W1H technique, fishbone diagram, and process map, it was found that the problem was due to a multi-step and repetitive work process, as well as incomplete documentation of the consumable disbursement. In addition, there were problems with storage locations and personnel. To improve the work process, the ECRS technique was used to eliminate unnecessary steps, reorganize the workflow, and improve the storage location for easier data retrieval. After process improvement in November-December 2022 and January 2023, the average waiting time was found to be 6.67 days, reducing waiting time for consumable disbursement retrieval by 3 days faster than the standard set. The results of this research can be expanded to other units within the hospital, especially in processes that are directly related to or require coordination with patients.
Jirapong Ruanggoon, Preecha Pornpayuhakeit, Pakorn Opasvitayarux Copyright (c) 2023 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/rmutsb-hs/article/view/264002 Wed, 27 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 Contemporary conservation strategies of the central region rice harvest song https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/rmutsb-hs/article/view/261671
The objectives of this research paper are 1) to study the conservation of rice harvesting song wisdom from the learning behavior of general people, and 2) to propose a contemporary conservation strategy of the central region rice harvesting songs. This research is a qualitative research and the tools used for data collection were interviews, questionnaires, group discussions, and observations. A sample group consists of 23 individuals who are artists or folk performing arts entrepreneurs, students, and village scholars. The obtained data was analyzed with content analysis technique.

The results showed that conservation of the rice harvesting song wisdom from the learning behavior of general people consists of 4 methods namely; 1) inheriting from family members, 2) transmitting from local scholars to students and interested people, 3) transferring from teachers to students in the classroom, and 4) transferring through performance activities. The researchers also analyzed the content based on the context of conservation, concepts, theories, and related research, along with various factors. From the study, it is found that there are 8 guidelines for the conservation of Thai wisdom, which the researchers revised to be a contemporary conservation. The contemporary conservation strategy of the central region's harvest song has 6 practices; 1) raising awareness of values, 2) restoring and improving wisdom to be appropriate for the era, 3) transferring to the next generation in society to know the benefits through the family and educational institutions, 4) promoting and supporting the creation of a network of inheritance and development, 5) disseminating and exchanging wisdoms and cultures, and 6) promoting local scholars to develop the potential to pass on wisdom that is beautiful and valuable to continue.
Vassa Promsilp, Benjaporn Chuapung, Thapakorn Thongkamnush, Suppachart Satientanasan Copyright (c) 2023 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/rmutsb-hs/article/view/261671 Wed, 27 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 A transitivity analysis of English-language news headlines on COVID-19 from Thai websites https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/rmutsb-hs/article/view/265892
The discourse analysis of technological media examining the events and impacts of the infectious disease COVID-19 has been steadily advancing. Consequently, this study investigated the representation of the processes embedded in COVID-19-related news headlines in the Thai context, since the interpretation of the relation between the participant and process-type choices affects how we perceive the ideologies behind such a global phenomenon. This study employed Halliday's transitivity framework. Transitivity was analyzed in 100 English-language news headlines. Data were randomized sampling collected from three online press websites, specifically the Bangkok Post, the National News Bureau of Thailand (NNT), and The Nation Thailand. Data were obtained from April to August 2021. The headlines were categorized according to process type based on their verbs and types of participants, and the circumstances based on the surrounding elements. The findings demonstrated that the use of each process serves a distinct purpose for managing the crisis. The results revealed the material process as being dominant, followed sequentially by the verbal, mental, relational, existential, and behavioral processes. The material process depicted various administrations' responses to the communicable disease, with the actors mostly being authoritative agents. Additionally, the verbal process was used by actors, i.e., concerned parties, to broadcast information and regulations concerning COVID-19. Based on these findings, the interpretation of the Thai context’s microstructural headlines analysis affirms the SFG methodology of ideological insight revelation. The results reveal that the representation of the COVID-19 situation in the Thai context was focused on government operations and proposed solutions to the crisis.
Pennapa Klaisingto, Theerawit Khamyangyuen Copyright (c) 2023 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/rmutsb-hs/article/view/265892 Wed, 27 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 The local wisdom of organic durian farming based on participatory guarantee system in Ban Khlong Phai, Wang Chan district, Rayong province https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/rmutsb-hs/article/view/262427
The objectives of this research were to study and collect the local wisdom of farmers on the organic durian production based on Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) in Ban Khlong Phai, Wang Chan district, Ra Yong province.
