Abstract
This research aims to study the relationship between meditation in accordance with Satipaṭṭhaña 4 and self-control. The ability to be self-control is the process of controlling stimulus, changing the stimulus to let the person exhibit behavior appropriately, and controlling the karmic after the individual has performed the targeted behavior by himself or herself. He or she is the one who sets the conditions for that karma and gives that karma to himself or herself. He or she with high self-control are able to develop himself or herself into a potential person. Meditation has many advantages which can be seen.
