A Study of the Problems of and Guidelines for Promoting Young Children’s Morality at Child Development Centers of Local Administrative Organizations, Kham Muang District, Kalasin Province

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัญหาและแนวทางการส่งเสริมคุณธรรมที่เหมาะสมกับเด็กปฐมวัยของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก สังกัดองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น อำเภอคำม่วง จังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ประกอบด้วย นายกเทศมนตรีตำบล นายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบล นักวิชาการ หัวหน้าศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กครูผู้ดูแลเด็ก และหัวหน้าส่วนการศึกษา จำนวน 106 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถามการศึกษาสภาพปัญหาและแนวทางการส่งเสริมคุณธรรมที่เหมาะสมกับเด็กปฐมวัยของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก สังกัดองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น อำเภอคำม่วง จังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ เป็นแบบสอบถามชนิดมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ และการสนทนากลุ่ม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สภาพปัญหาการส่งเสริมคุณธรรมเด็กปฐมวัยของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก แนวทางการส่งเสริม คุณธรรมที่เหมาะสมกับเด็กปฐมวัย สรุปได้ดังนี้ 1) ควรมีการบูรณาการการเรียนการสอน จัดให้มีบรรยากาศของคุณธรรมที่เด็กสามารถเรียนรู้และถือเป็นแบบอย่างได้ด้วยตนเอง 2) ควรจัดกิจกรรมให้สอดคล้องกับหลักการส่งเสริมคุณธรรมสำหรับเด็ก 3) ควรจัดอบรมอย่างต่อเนื่องและเปิดโอกาสให้ชุมชนมีส่วนร่วม และ 4) ควรให้ความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับพัฒนาการของเด็กในแต่ละช่วงวัยแก่ผู้ปกครองThis research aimed to study the problems of and guidelines for promoting morality suitable for young children at child development centers affiliated with local administrative organizations in Kham Muang district, Kalasin province. There were 106 samples, including the mayors of sub-district municipalities, the chief executives of sub-district administrative organizations, academics, the chairs of child development centers, teachers, and the chairs of educational divisions. The instruments were a rating-scale questionnaire and a focus group discussion. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The qualitative data were analyzed with a content analysis and were presented descriptively. The results of this research revealed that (1) the problems of promoting the morality of young children at child development centers affiliated with local administrative organizations, Kham Muang district, Kalasin province were at a serious level. When considering each section, it was found that the family section had a serious problem, while the workshop section, the extracurricular activity section and the instruction section had a moderate problem; (2) regarding guidelines for promoting morality suitable for young children at child development centers affiliated with local administrative organizations, Kham Muang district, Kalasin province, it was recommended that 1) in the instruction section, integrate the instruction and create a learning environment with an atmosphere promoting the morality that the young children can learn and maintain as a good model, 2) organize the activity in accordance with the principles for promoting children’s morality, 3) provide the children with workshops on a continual basis, and let the communities participate in, and 4) educate the guardians about principles and theories of child development at each age.
