Development of an Information Technology System to Follow Up on Graduates’ Employment Status : A Case Study of Swang Daen Din Industrial and Community Education College

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพปัญหาและความต้องการของการติดตามภาวะการมีงานทำของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา วิทยาลัยการอาชีพสว่างแดนดิน 2) พัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการติดตามภาวะการมีงานทำของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาวิทยาลัยการอาชีพสว่างแดนดิน 3) ศึกษาประสิทธิภาพของระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการติดตามภาวะการมีงานทำของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา วิทยาลัยการอาชีพสว่างแดนดิน 4) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้งานที่มีต่อระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการติดตามภาวะการมีงานทำของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา วิทยาลัยการอาชีพสว่างแดนดิน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักศึกษา จำนวน 258 คน และบุคลากร จำนวน 2 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์ แบบประเมิน แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) สภาพปัญหาการติดตามภาวะการมีงานทำของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ด้าน คือ ด้านการจัดเก็บข้อมูลการสืบค้นข้อมูล และการรายงานผล 2) จากการประเมินสภาพปัญหาและความต้องการทำให้ได้ระบบสารสนเทศที่เรียกว่า Employment Status System ในรูปแบบของเว็บแอพพลิเคชั่น (Web Application) 3) ประสิทธิภาพของระบบสารสนเทศ ภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด มีค่าเฉลี่ย 4.63 4) ความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้งานระบบสารสนเทศนักศึกษา มีค่าเฉลี่ย 4.70 และของบุคลากร มีค่าเฉลี่ย 4.65 ซึ่งมีผลอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุดทั้งสองกลุ่มThe objectives of this research were: 1) to investigate the conditions, problems and needs of a system used to follow up graduates’ of Swang Daen Din Industrial and Community Education College, employment Status, 2) to develop the information system 3) to study the efficiency of the proposed information system, 4) to explore the student’ satisfaction of the information system. The samples were 258 Students and 2 officials. The instruments were an interview, a discussion of problems and needs, a questionnaire to explore the students’ conditions and a questionnaire to examine the students’ satisfaction. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation. The study revealed these result : 1) The conditions and problems could be divided into 3 spects: data collection, data search and report. 2) After evaluating the conditions and problems involved in following up on the graduates’ employment status, an Employment Status System was installed as a Web Application. 3) The efficiency of the information system, was at the highest level with a mean score of 4.63. 4) The students’ satisfaction of the information system was at 4.70; and the satisfaction of the officials was at 4.65 level.
