FACTTORS AFFECTING ALIEN EMPLOYMENT OF MIGRANT WORKERS AT CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN CHONBURI PROVINCE

This research aimed to investigate: 1) The factors affecting the alien employment of migrant workers at a construction company in Chonburi Province, 2) The demographic factors are affecting the alien employment of migrant workers at a construction company in Chonburi Province, 3) The characteristics of establishment affecting alien employment of migrant workers at a construction company in Chonburi Province, and 4) The reasons for the factors affecting the alien employment of migrant workers at a construction company in Chonburi Province. The sample of this research was 310 construction contractors who had a quota for using migrant workers in Chonburi province. The questionnaire scale of 5 levels. The statistical using data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, ANOVA analysis, and the pair tested with LSD. The result found that the decision to hire foreign workers were at a high level. The age of the operator, the characteristics of establishments by registered capital, time to pay the workers' wages, and wage men affect the employment of foreign workers in the construction business in Chonburi at a statistical significance level .05. The reason for the employment of foreign workers affects the employment of foreign workers in the construction business are the governing bodies, cost of operation, and labor shortages at statistical significance level .05.
