HIGH PERFORMANCE WORK SYSTEM: CONCEPTS AND APPLICATIONS TO IMPROVE ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE.

Abstract
Despite the High Performance Work System (HPWS) was enabled organizational performance and increased competitive advantage. However, this concept was still not clearly defined and cannot be explained the link to the increasing of organizational performance. So it is difficult to bring the concept into action. This article was reviewed the meaning, composition and the relationship of HPWS with organizational performance. Then, proposed an approach of the developing and implementing HPWS. That was the important process in the application of HPWS to enhance the organizational performance. Key success factors in application of HPWS including leadership, investment in employee development and the synergy of processes, were suggested in the last section of this paper.
