THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT AND SATISFACTION WITH (5E) INQUIRY LEARNING MANAGEMENT ON ENGLISH GRAMMAR OF STUDENTS IN GRADE 1

Abstract

 The purposes of this research were: (1) to compare the learning achievement by using the 5Es of Inquiry-Based Learning online learning. 2) to compare the posttest results with defined criteria and 3) to study the satisfaction by using the Exploration-Based Learning Management Process (5E), English course of Mathayomsuksa I students. This is a preliminary experimental research. A single-group experimental pattern was measured before and after the experiment. The sample consisted of 20 students in Mathayomsuksa I students, Plutaluang Wittaya School, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, and Academic Year 2021, obtained by simple random sampling. The tools used in the research consisted of 1) A learning management plan using the Exploration-Based Learning Management Process (5E) of Mathayomsuksa I students. 2) An achievement test on English grammar of Mathayomsuksa I students and 3) students the satisfaction questionnaire for learning management by using the quest for knowledge learning management process (5E) of Mathayomsuksa I students. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test (Dependent Sample t-test and One Sample t-test).


  The research results were: 1) the learning achievement after school was higher than before. 2) The learning achievement after school was higher than the specified criteria by 75% of the full score with statistical significance at the 0.05 level and 3) the satisfaction with the use of the learning management process. The survey form (5E) of English language courses of Mathayomsuksa I students. Overall was at a high leve l   ̅x = 4.19, S.D. = 0.70).
