Thai language is the national language which remains the traits that is
veryimportant of Thai nation. It is all Thai people duties to study and practice in 4
skills : listening,speaking, reading and writing for using Thai language to communicate
correctly and perfectlyin daily life. Especially Thai idioms usage that is the language
skill which rely on learning boththeory doctrine and practice. Thai idioms show
language ability, words compilation, and combininglong paragraphs to be the short
paragraphs. It may use them as the reminding thing for us tobe careful, to know our
duties and time or it may use them as the pointer for us to see the wayof life of the
people in former times, to reflect the plentiful, occupation, joint livelihood, beliefand
custom. So this can point out that the value of Thai idioms reveal themselves clearly,
providethat someone merely use their useful for communicating in various angles on
his or her want.Many of Thai idioms are very popular and have the important role in
every circles becauseof their meanings are bear firmly on mind, so they circulate in the
term of both speakingand writing which were applied for communicating in many
types. So, it is the thing thatwe should learn because using Thai idioms consist of the
communicating by using speakingand writing in the present time. Most people can not
use these two skills for communicatingunperfectly because they lack of knowledge
and misunderstanding the meaning of idioms orusing them incorrectly because of
language ability are different in various factors such as age,social background,
occupation and interest, but other important cause is using idioms for communicating
by leaving out or adding words or bring about new words by using the old words.
