Guidelines for Conservation and Development Ancient Viharn of Wat Phochai Mongkol Integrative Based on Buddhadhamma

Abstract

The article “Guidelines for Conservation and Development Ancient Viharn of WatPhochai Mongkol Integrative Based on Buddhadhamma” aimed to study about guidelines for conservation and development ancient viharn of Wat Phochai Mongkol at Ban Naphong, Naphong Sub-District, Mueang Loei District, Loei Province integrative based on Buddhadhamma. The study found that Inside Wat Phochai Mongkhol there is an ancient viharn that used to be a church. It is an ancient building dating from the middle of the 25 Buddhist century. Inside is a stucco Buddha image which is beautiful and sacred its historical archeology and folk art was valuable in Loei province as well. It was a blend of art and of the unity of the people. But in a state vulnerable to damage it should be conserved and integrated development based on the Buddhadhamma. In this study authors used “APARIHANIYADHAMMA” in order that the ancient viharn of Wat Phochai Mongkol was the archeological and historic site of archeology, religion and the arts.
