Abstract

From the outbreak of COVID-19, the government fell into the state where with no systematic plan to manage the widespread of the disease. To handle the situation, a special team has been set, the state of emergency has been declared, and COVID-19 management center has been established to deal with the spread of the disease with the goal to effectively control the personnel, budget, and medical tools. However, using the New Public Government where people participation (e.g. political involvement, etc.) are being considered can ensure that the policy will reflect the true need of people. Thus, lead to cooperation from different sectors (e.g. private sectors, volunteers, religious organizations, and the public. A successful management in every sector will curb the spread of the disease and helping the public stay safe.
