Main Article Content
Abstract
The project Cap Corner Stone (CCS) is aimed to support and promote the rural economy, local products to the world, using the sustainability factor. We discovered the area where they have very minimal opportunities called “Manchakhiri”, Khonkaen.
NBI’s students Czech group 3rd has initiated Manchakhiri project continuing to 7th group who have found an extraordinary local economic product, that is, the Eri silk garment. It is distinguished, it has 3 special characters, soft to touch like wool, looks like cotton, feels smooth as real silk and very easy to take care of.
It is an environmentally friendly product. In addition, dyeing is used by local natural plant coloring.
NBI students implemented the new garment product lines and have been promoting and developing the product continuously, not widespread with those who have a passion for Thai silk. It is not easy to access the products, which is probably due to many factors in the promotion that is not yet integrated. The 7th group of NBI students competing the integrated development concept through three sectors; Citizens, Economy, and Government, under supervised by Prof. Dr. Kriengsak, who is the issuer scheme course.
NBI students bring in new ideas to develop more products and as a prototype, a Gatsby style hat and a VIP suite lounge.
NBI students #Czech7 had an opportunity to make a precious piece, memorable and competitive in the global market worthy of an inscription that cannot beevaluated: Bring Eri silk to cover the chair presented and offering to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn The group has designed a logo and branded “Silk de Mancha”, to make a brand of the eri silk products identity. NBI students recently received the information that the local villagers have increased their income and made local residents proud to inherit the craft. The improvement made locals have more wisdom and enthusiasm to weave more silk and feed silk products to the market. Hopefully, eri silk will be popular and can reach the demand.
