Efficiency and effectiveness of quality assessment bannad “kururatUtis school”

Abstract
This research aims to examine the efficiency and effectiveness of quality assurance for Bannad “Kururat Uthit” School. The informants consisted of six people : one school administrator and five teachers, who were members of the internal quality assurance working group. The data collection employed qualitative methods.
The results of the study were as follows. had set standards for both the early childhood education level and the fundamental education level. The standards were based on input and visions of partaken stakeholders. They joined forces and managed to establish a clear-cut quality assurance system for each part. As a result, the efficiency and effectiveness of quality assurance was satisfactory.With respect to the management guidelines for the quality assurance system, had adopted and applied the philosophy of the sufficiency economy of King Rama IX. , the school utilized the Deming Cycle, also was known as the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) Cycle, a four-step problem solving iterative technique, to continually improve the quality of school administration Furthermore, the school implemented the results of the External Quality Assessment Phase 1: the Self Assessment Report (SAR) of the fiscal year 2021, under the COVID-19 situation, to improve the school management quality. There was online teaching and learning, an adjustable learning to suit students’ needs (ON HAND ONLINE) and personnel development training via ZOOM.The researchers uncovered some problems, obstacles, and impacts resulting from the internal quality assurance. A teacher shortage in the core subjects led to a discontinuity of students' learning and a mismatch between teachers and subjects.Suggestions: The school should create innovations in quality assurance to ensure the highest efficiency and effectiveness of the management for small educational institutions. To achieve this, the school could create a network and collaborate with other small educational institutions.
