Factors contributing Quality of Life for elders: A studying case in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya city, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province

Abstract

The work aims to the following objectives; i) To investigate the factors contributing Quality of Life for elders and ii) To create the predicting model for Quality of Life for elders in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya city, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province. 394 samples from population database of elderly in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya city. We use the questionnaires as the tool for survey. Statistical package are applied to analyze descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. The analyzed result show that, i) The sample had quality of life at high level. Four components of physical, mental, social relations and the environment were rated at high level. ii) Factors contributing quality of life for elders found that the strength of the body, concentration at work, the satisfaction of making friends with others and overall life. It affects the quality of life in terms of physical, mental, social relations and the environment, respectively and iii) The predictive equation is given
