Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to assess the level of competency in the digital era among supporting staff at Nakhon Phanom University and to compare these competencies based on personal factors. A quantitative research approach was employed, collecting data from 222 supporting staff members, determined using Taro Yamane’s formula. A questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.97 was used as the data collection instrument between October 2024 and January 2025. Data analysis included descriptive statistics such as frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as hypothesis testing using t-test, F-test, and Least Significant Difference (LSD).
Research Result: The results revealed that the overall job performance competency in the digital era was at the highest level (𝒙̅ = 4.50, S.D. = 0.33). The highest-rated competency was integrity and ethics (𝒙̅ = 4.60, S.D. = 0.38), followed by service excellence (𝒙̅ = 4.53, S.D. = 0.37) and teamwork (𝒙̅ = 4.51, S.D. = 0.40). Additionally, professional expertise (𝒙̅ = 4.46, S.D. = 0.43) and achievement orientation (𝒙̅ = 4.42, S.D. = 0.40) were rated at a high level. Personal factors, including gender, age, compensation, and work experience, significantly influenced digital-era job performance competency at the 0.05 significance level. However, educational qualifications did not result in statistically significant differences.
