Fashion Collection Design For Gender-Fluldwith The Gloss-Added Innovation in Natural Paint From Multicultural Concept in Bangkok

Abstract

Nowadays, gender diversity is an important topic in societies. Gender-fluid is a person whose gender identities seem interchangeable from male to female. This research aims to study a process to design a fashion collection for gender-fluid using gloss-added innovation in natural paint and multicultural concept in Bangkok. The research includes qualitative and quantitative research methods, including design and prototype development processes. The research found that (1) majority of gender-fluid consumer requires garments in feminine-vintage. (2) The target group pays most attention to cultural diversity in Bangkok. (3) The target group pays more attention to the innovation of natural coatings and fabrics. (4) New vanish liquid from rubber tree and banana rubber. Four prototype outfits were developed to show the research process and results.
