งานวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์1. สร้างองค์ความรู้ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน ศิลปะการวาดภาพด้วย ทรายสี 2. สร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะการวาดภาพด้วยทรายสี ในงานวิจัยนี้ เพื่อนําความรู้ความเข้าใจไปสู่ การพัฒนาการสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะการวาดทรายด้วยทรายสี ผลที่ได้จากวิจัย 1. ค้นพบขั้นตอน ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะการวาดทรายด้วยทรายสี 2. ได้ผลงานสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะด้วยการวาดทรายด้วยทรายสี
ผู้วิจัยจึงเห็นความสําคัญที่จะทําการศึกษาค้นคว้า ผลงาน ศิลปะการวาดภาพด้วยทรายสี รวมทั้งงานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างองค์ความรู้ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน และกระบวนการ สร้างสรรค์ผลงาน ศิลปะการวาดภาพด้วยทรายสี วิธีการวิจัยการวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (qualitative research) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อค้นคว้าองค์ความรู้ในการสร้างสรรค์ภาพเคลื่อนไหวสองมิติ ทฤษฎีในจิตรกรรม และเพื่อการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานภาพเคลื่อนไหวสองมิติ จิตรกรรมทราย ด้วยสี
