Focus and Scope

The Journal of Public Administration, Public Affairs, and Management publishes articles in public policy, human resource, local government, organization, justice, public finance and related fields.

Peer Review Process

The Journal of Public Administration, Public Affairs, and Management publishes peer-reviewed (double-blinded) (at least 2 reviewers) scholarly articles and book/article reviews on public policy, human resource, local government, organization, justice, public finance and related fields. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two expert reviewers, chosen from both inside and outside institutions.

Publication Frequency

The Journal of Public Administration, Public Affairs, and Management is published bi-annually. 
No.1: January - June
No.2: July - December

Publication Fee

The Journal of Public Administration, Public Affairs, and Management has no publishing fee.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Assisted Technology

Upon submission, authors must disclose the use of artificial intelligence (AI)–assisted technologies, including large language models (LLMs), chatbots, or image-creation tools, in producing the submitted work. Any such use should be transparently described in the Acknowledgements section, including how the technology was applied and the version used

Journal History

Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two expert reviewers, chosen from both inside and outside institutions.

The journal is produced by the Graduate School of Public Administration, National Institute of Development Administration (GSPA-NIDA).

The Journal is a biannual peer-reviewed academic journal (June and December) and is published in both English and Thai.  Staring 2022, articles are published only in English.
