Alternates of Scala theatre Hall Conservation

Abstract

The objectives of the research, entitled "Alternates of Scala theatre Hall Conservation" is to study and
present alternative physical conservation models which inspired by the online critics about saving Scala
theatre. Methods of the project focus on Scala theatre hall elements, studying from drawings and surveying,
combine with theories, principles, and cases. The results of Scala hall elements analysis are classified by
function and structure. This classification is crucial for scoping the alternates of conservation range and scale
in the criteria of space changing and structural stability. Moreover, analyzing conservation levels also present
the whole picture of conservation from the intensive conservation to relocation. To conclude the idea of this
research, a developer can compare the significance of ideas to support a decision of choosing conservation
alternate level which is proper for the development plan. However, structural investigations are required.
