The Satisfaction of Furniture Provided with Sales in Medium - Priced Condominiums Case Study: The TREE Sukhumvit 71, PLUM Condo Ramkhamhaeng Station

Abstract

           Furniture has provided with sales, as one of promotion lists. That attract who are interested in processing condominiums to buying decisions easier. The objectives of this research were to study furniture has provided with sales. To be consistent with user behavior and satisfaction of buyer. Two case studies, The Tree Sukhumvit 71 and Plum Condo Ramkhamhaeng Station. This was achieved by data from questionnaires and interviews. Data analyzed together review with the furniture selection concepts, furniture layout plan within a small space and the concept of human satisfaction. In order to summarize the furniture styles that are in accordance with the behavior buyers of condominium at a medium-priced level.

           The study found that the most of samples were working age. The most of condominium price between 2,000,001 – 2,500,000 baht. The monthly household income was 25,001 bath and up. The monthly household expenditures were 10,001 - 20,000 baht. The monthly condominium expenses were 10,001 - 15,000 baht. The most of budget for buying furniture was 50,001 - 100,000 baht. From the study of furniture usage behavior, it was found that some furniture’s were used for more than one form due to the limited space and depending on the living habits, such as sofas used for living and sleeping, tables used for relaxing and working, beds used for sleeping and living, etc. Satisfaction with furniture provided for sale that satisfied more built-in furniture than loose furniture. Some furniture’s have too little storage. Some furniture’s were not suitable for the area. Some materials were not strong and durable.

          According to analytical data together with the theoretical concepts, it was found that the furniture provided for sale in the small unit should be flexible, able to support a variety of applications, should be designed in conjunction with the layout of the unit. In order to be worthwhile, consistent, and suitable for the interior space of the unit, should increase storage space both vertical and horizontal as far as possible. Taking into account the space requirements in each basic structure according to the Human Scale principle, the furniture provided for sale should not be arranged for sale in the market. The findings illustrate that The size of the space inside the unit of condominium affects the layout of the furniture. This study’s results will be useful to entrepreneurs interested in developing furniture with sales and buyers of condominiums at a medium-priced level.
