Artificial Night Lighting Decoration for Wedding Ceremony in the Seaside Area.

Abstract

          Wedding ceremony is one of the traditional that has been with Thais for so long. Nowadays, the popular location for the ceremony that brides and glooms are choosing is mostly outdoor since it has a nice atmosphere, especially rooftops, gardens, and seaside. The wedding ceremony in Thailand usually divided into two parts, which are morning ceremony and celebrations in the evening.

          One of the important factors that influence the environment of the wedding is lighting, especially in the night.

         This research aimed to study the technique of lighting to be suitable for each ceremony. Study how the lighting and the tone of the light comply with each other. The results were found by observation at 20 wedding ceremonies, interview 45 participants who are working in the field. After the observation and interviews, the information received were bring to create a focus group for 100 participants who age between 20-45 years old.

          Lastly, the result found that the tone of lighting and the direction of how the light is set is essential in order to create the environment that brides and glooms are wanted
