การเปลี่ยนแปลงเชิงวิถีชีวิตหลังการย้ายสัตว์ออกจากพื้นที่ขัดแย้งในตัวเมือง: กรณีศึกษาลิงในเมืองเก่าลพบุรี

บทคัดย่อ
ลิงเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของเมืองลพบุรี มีบทบาทในการดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยว แต่ในขณะเดียวกัน การเพิ่มจำนวนของลิงนั้นก็ทำให้ความเป็นอยู่ของผู้อาศัยในเมืองแย่ลง โดยลิงขโมยสิ่งของ ทำลายทรัพย์สิน และอาคาร รวมถึงกัดและข่วนคน ทำให้ผู้อาศัยได้ปกป้องตัวเองโดยใช้อุปกรณ์ไล่ลิง หลีกเลี่ยงเส้นทางที่มีลิง ใช้เวลานอกอาคารน้อยลง รวมถึงย้ายออกจากพื้นที่ ในปีพ.ศ. 2567 จึงได้มีการดำเนินการย้ายลิงออกจากพื้นที่เพื่อบรรเทาผลกระทบที่เกิดขึ้นจากลิง การศึกษานี้จึงสำรวจและวิเคราะห์การเปลี่ยนแปลงพฤติกรรมของคนในพื้นที่ก่อนและหลังนำลิงออกจากพื้นที่บางส่วน และสำรวจข้อมูลการใช้ชีวิตเพื่อเสนอแนะแนวทางการปรับปรุงที่เหมาะสม โดยมีสมมติฐานว่า พฤติกรรมการใช้ชีวิตของคนในพื้นที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ
จากการศึกษาการใช้ชีวิตของคนในเมือง พบการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญตามสมมติฐาน โดยมีการใช้เวลานอกอาคารมากขึ้น และการหลีกเลี่ยงเส้นทางที่มีลิงลดลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ โดยทดสอบด้วยแบบทดสอบอันดับของวิลคอกสัน (Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test) กับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 100 คน ที่ระดับความเชื่อมั่น 95% พบค่า p< .001 ทั้ง 2 ตัวแปร จาก 3 ตัวแปร แสดงให้เห็นว่า คนมีความรู้สึกปลอดภัยและมีอิสระในการใช้พื้นที่สาธารณะซึ่งเคยเป็นพื้นที่ซ้อนทับกับลิงมากขึ้น สอดคล้องกับการตรวจสอบความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการนำลิงออกจากพื้นที่ซึ่งผู้คน 95% เห็นว่า สามารถช่วยแก้ไขปัญหาจากลิงได้อย่างมาก
