The Development of the Basic Mechanical Tool Skill Practical Set in Cutting, Grinding, and Drilling with the MIAP Model Teaching Procedure for the Vocational Certificate Students

Abstract

This research has the objectives in (1) creating and finding the efficiency of basic mechanical tool skill practical set in cutting, grinding, and drilling with the MIAP model teaching procedure for the vocational certificate students with the efficiency following the criteria of 80/80, (2) studying the index value of efficiency and effectiveness in learning of the vocational certificate students with the skill practical set of MIAP model teaching procedure, (3) studying the satisfaction of students studying with the skill practical set of MIAP model teaching procedure. The research population consists of 22 samples from Phraphutthabat Municipal Vocational College, Program in Electric Power. The research results reveal that the efficiency equaling to 81.02/80.08 higher than the standard criteria of 80/80. The index value of efficiency in learning of the vocational certificate students equals to 0.7112 signifying the students having the development in knowledge and practical skills increasing by 0.7112 or calculated as 71.12% and the satisfaction of students studying with the basic mechanical tool skill practical set equaling to 4.34 (µ=4.34). The standard deviation equals to 0.28 (σ=0.28).
