The Development of Economics Instructional Model Integrated with The Principle of Ariyamagga to Enhance Students’ Characteristics based on Buddhist Economics

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) develop of the economics instructional model integrated with the principle of ariyamagga to enhance student’s characteristics based on buddhist economics. 2) evaluate the effectiveness of the economics instructional model integrated with the principle of ariyamagga to enhance student’s characteristics based on buddhist economics. The research instruments were  1) handbook of the economics instructional model 2) lesson plans 3) an achievement test 4) a test of student’s characteristics based on buddhist economics about knowledge 5) an assessment form student’s characteristics based on buddhist economics about skills 6) an assessment form student’s characteristics based on buddhist economics about attitude. 7) a satisfaction questionnaire about instructional model. The collected data was an analyzed by mean, standard deviation, t-test foe independent and content analysis. The findings were as follows: 1) the economics instructional model was qualify and appropriate in implementation 2) the learning achievement of students was higher than before at the significant level of .05. 3) the student’s characteristics based on buddhist economics about knowledge was higher than before at the significant level of .05 and skills was higher. Also, attitude was higher. 5) the students’ overall opinions towards the economics instructional model was at the highest level.
