The Problems and Needs Innovation for Develop Education Management of Professors in Department of Curriculum and Instruction Faculty of Education Silpakorn University

Abstract

The purpose of this research were 1) to study the problems about the innovative approaches to develop education of Professors in Department of Curriculum and Instruction Faculty of Education Silpakorn University; 2) to study needs and suggestions of teachers on innovative approaches to develop education of Professors in Department of Curriculum and Instruction Faculty of Education Silpakorn University.The sampling of the research is 10 Professors in academic year 2019 of Faculty of Education Silpakorn University with more than 8 years of teaching experience. The instruments were 1) the interview form about problems and obstacles of using innovation in teaching process, 2) the interview form about demand and recommendations of the use of innovation in teaching process for preservice teachers. Descriptive statistic were applied for data analysis including mean (), standard deviation (S.D.), percentage (%) and content analysis.


The research revealed that; 1) The Problems and obstacles for the use of innovation in the teaching process of the teachers. Overall, it was at a high level (= 3.74, S.D. = 0.94) 2) The Needs and suggestions for the use of innovation in education management of the instructor. Overall, it was at a high level  (= 3.84, S.D. = 1.05), When considered individually, found that all topics were reached at high level, including measurement and evaluation, teaching and learning methods, teaching media and the curriculum
