The Development of English Reading Instructional Model Based on Task-Based Learning for Enhancing Analytical Thinking Skills for Primary School Students

บทคัดย่อ

        การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) พัฒนาและหาประสิทธิภาพของรูปแบบฯ 2)ประเมินประสิทธิผลการใช้รูปแบบฯ และ 3) ขยายผลรูปแบบฯ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนวัดบางหลวง ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2557 จำนวน 30 คน กลุ่มขยายผลเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนวัดไผ่หูช้าง ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2557 จำนวน 25 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย รูปแบบฯ คู่มือการใช้รูปแบบฯ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ แบบทดสอบความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ แบบประเมินทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ และแบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักเรียน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการหาค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าทีแบบไม่อิสระ (t-test for dependent samples) และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ชื่อรูปแบบคือ “ADAA Model” มี 5 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ หลักการ วัตถุประสงค์ กระบวนการจัดการเรียนรู้ การวัดและประเมินผล และเงื่อนไขสำคัญในการนำรูปแบบไปใช้ให้ประสบผลสำเร็จ รูปแบบมีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 78.29/81.23 2) หลังเรียนตามรูปแบบฯ นักเรียนมีความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 3) มีพัฒนาการด้านทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์สูงขึ้น 4) มีความคิดเห็นต่อกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามรูปแบบฯ อยู่ในระดับเห็นด้วยมาก 5) ในการขยายผล พบว่าหลังเรียนตามรูปแบบฯ นักเรียนมีความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน มีพัฒนาการด้านทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์สูงขึ้น และมีความคิดเห็นต่อกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามรูปแบบฯ อยู่ในระดับเห็นด้วยมากที่สุด

Abstract

              The purposes of research were to: 1) develop and determine the efficiency of the model,2) evaluate the effectiveness of the model, and 3) disseminate the model. The samples comprised 30 6^th grade students during the second semester of the academic year 2014 at Watbangluang School. The samples for dissemination comprised 25 6^th grade students during the second semester of the academic year 2014 at Watpaihoochang School. Research instruments consisted of English reading instructional model based on task-based learning, a handbook for the model, lesson plans, a reading comprehension test, analytical thinking skills assessment forms and questionnaire. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, t-test dependent, and content analysis. The results found that: 1) the model called “ADAA Model” was consisted of five elements; principle, objective, learning process, the evaluation, and the importance condition for using the model. The efficiency of the model were 78.29/81.23, 2) after learning the students had reading comprehension were significantly higher at .05 level, 3) the students had higher development of analytical thinking skills, 4) after learning the students had opinion toward the model were at a high level, 5) the dissemination found that the students had reading comprehension after learning higher than before, higher development of analytical thinking skills and had opinion toward the model were at a highest level.
