Total Quality Management Strategy of Industrial Business for Sustainable Success

Abstract

The objectives of the study were to 1) study the importance of factors affecting the success of total quality management of industrial business for sustainable success 2) analyze the factors that influence the success of total quality management of industrial business for sustainable success and 3) define a total quality management strategy for an industrial business for sustainable success. The sample used in the research was 181 personnel in manufacturing enterprise who received the National Quality Award and the Executive Award for Excellence. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used in the research consisted of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation coefficient analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis.

The findings revealed that analyzing the importance levels of factors affected the successfulness of total quality management of business. For the overall image, the significance level was at a high level. When analyzing factors which affected the successfulness of total quality management with behavior total quality management of industrial business, it was found that 8 factors were influence on the successfulness with statistically significant at 0.05. 1) The organization should set the standard for each customer service. 2) Check the communication message and open feedback channels from personnel. 3) The risk management system of the organization must be clearly defined. 4) Collect data in the form of statistics. 5) Plan for industry trends in advance. 6) Apply total quality management cover all processes 7) Use the tools designed to analyze the needs of customers. 8) The leader of the organization must use communication language at each level which personnel can easily understand. In conclusion, the two complementary predictors could significantly predict the factors affecting the success of total quality management at the level of 84.00 with standard deviation at 0.244, and considering the 8 factors, it was found that assessment of suitability and probability in applying strategy by professional were at avery high level.
