The purposes of this research were 1) to develop and perform the effectiveness of the integrated Chinese language instructional package using local contexts, 2) to compare learning achievements before and after using the integrated Chinese language instructional package and 3) to study students' attitudes after using the integrated Chinese language instructional package, using local contexts. The sample group was 16 Chinese-majored students, Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University, studying Intermediate Chinese, second semester, academic year 2016. The instruments employed in the research included: 1) an integrated Chinese language instructional package using local contexts 2) the Chinese leaning achievement pre-test and post-test 3) the evaluation form and 4) the attitude questionnaire. The statistics used in the analysis were mean, standard deviation, percentage, difficulty and efficiency indices. The results showed that: 1) The efficiency of the package was at the level of E1/E2 80.46/81.25 which was higher than the specific criteria of 80/80. 2) The students’ post-test scores were higher than pre-test and the percentage of progress was at the level of 20.21. 3) The students’ attitudes were positive and the average of the questionnaires was at the level of 4.43.
