บทคัดย่อ

This research aimed to investigates (1) the leadership of chief executive officers of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in inter-city coordination, (2) the leadership of chief executive officers of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in city administration, and (3) the leadership of chief executive officers of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in alliance with non-governmental organizations. This research was qualitative. Data were collected through in-depth interviews of 25 chief executive officers of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration; and the content analysis was applied for data analysis. The research result showed that the leadership of chief executive officers of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration consists of the leadership of chief executive officers of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in inter-city coordination, it is the leadership of chief executive officers who demonstrate the ability to coordinate and learn how to compete between cities; the leadership of chief executive officers of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in city administration, it is the leadership of chief executive officers who demonstrate their ability to manage the city, including strategies, operations, and techniques to manage the mission in Bangkok and to deal with the effects of development; and the leadership of chief executive officers of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in alliance with non-governmental organizations, it is the leadership of chief executive officers who demonstrate the ability to form alliances with non-governmental organizations to participate in the implementation of the Bangkok Development Plan.
