Abstract
The analysis of the creation of composing Thai classical melodies of PhengKlomnari Thao was qualitative research. The purpose of the research was to study the analysis of the creation of composing Thai classical melodies of PhlengKlomnari Thao.
The results of the study showed that the Thai classical melodies of PhlengKlomnari Thao comprised five tones: the flat tone, the down tone, the falling tone, the high tone, and the rising tone. These tones were the important variables for the creation of composing Thai classical melodies, singing, and toning. Moreover, five tones were necessary for the correct meaning of the lyrics and the main melodies. The research findings of PhlengKlomnari Thao showed two musical scales: the G clef (GAB X DE X) and the C clef (CDE X GA X). On the G clef scale (GAB X DE X), the lyrics with the flat tone and the rising tone could create lyrical melodies that matched the main melodies. The other singing melodies had the melisma (Euen) after the lyrics for the same sound as the main melodies. On the C clef scale (CDE X GA X), the lyrics with the falling tone could create lyrical melodies that matched the main melodies. The other singing melodies had the melisma (Euen) after the lyrics for the same sound as the main melodies. The other singing melodies had the melisma (Euen) after the lyrics for the same sound as the main melodies. The conclusion was that the analysis of the creation of composing Thai classical melodies of PhlengKlomnari Thao depended on five tones, or lyrical melodies, and the main melodies of Thai classical songs.
