FACTORS AFFECTING EARLY ELDERLY WORKERS (60-69 YEARS OLD): CASE STUDY IN SARABURI PROVINCE

Abstract
The purposes of this research was to study the factors affecting early elderly workers (60-69 years old). The study used quantitative research method. Secondary data was used from The survey of the older persons in Thailand 2014, 2017 and 2021 of the National Statistical Office only about Saraburi province. The samples was 323 elderly people aged 60-69 years who wanted to work. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics; mean, percentage, standard deviation, and inferential statistics, Normal multiple regression with F-test and t-test for hypothesis testing. The study results was found that 5 independent variables were predictive variables; sex, level of education, occupation, work status, income per year had an influence on the dependent variable, number of working hours per week, with a statistical significance of 0.05. The results of this study could be applied as basic data for hiring elderly workers, in order to solve problem of the elderly workers.
