IMPROVING DISBURSEMENT EFFICENCY OF THE FACULTY OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES PHRANAKHON RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The research on increasing the efficiency of disbursement of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Phranakhon Rajabhat University, aims to study 1) the efficiency of budget disbursement, 2) factors affecting the efficiency of budget disbursement, and 3) the efficient form of budget disbursement of the strategic projects of the Rajabhat University for local development of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Phranakhon Rajabhat University. This is a qualitative research. The tool used for collecting qualitative data is an interview form with 30 key informants. The content analysis and content consistency were checked using the triangulation method.


The research results found that 1) Budget disbursement efficiency found that budget disbursement for the strategic projects of Rajabhat Universities had a clear operational plan and process. Personnel had knowledge and ability and were able to use information technology to assist in the operations efficiently and provided consultation services, recommendations, and information on budget disbursement correctly, quickly, transparently, and verifiably. 2) Factors affecting budget disbursement efficiency found that personnel had knowledge and understanding of the project management steps and processes and the preparation of supporting documents for disbursement correctly and completely. In terms of the disbursement document auditors, they had skills, knowledge, and understanding of the content and information, rules, and regulations for disbursement correctly and accurately. 3) The development of a budget disbursement model for the strategic projects of Rajabhat Universities for local development that is effective is to establish a strict disbursement verification system so that disbursement information can be verified conveniently and quickly, and personnel potential should be developed to provide knowledge on budget disbursement so that operations can effectively achieve their goals.
