Abstract

         This study is in order to evaluate the projects under the Ministry of Public Health funding proposal from the Integrated Readiness Plan for Aging Society 2020 by using the CIPP model which consists of Context Evaluation, Input Evaluation, Process Evaluation and Product Evaluation through documentary research from five projects which includes 1) project to development and enhancement for the Thai elderly group, 2) project to create a society that cares about the health of the elderly. 3) project to create social caring for the health of the elderly. 4) project to promote the use of innovations for the life of the elderly and 5) project to enhance healthcare system to support the elderly. The results from the project evaluations have shown that:

The results obtained based on four evaluation criteria i.e. context or environment, preliminary or input factor, operational process and productivity are consistent and meet the all the criteria. The results of the evaluation namely the operational objectives are consistent with current policies and situations. Inputs are ready to support personnel and resources. Procedure and step are well prepared. The budget was returned which was considered to meet the set target. Only 8.92 percent was unable to proceed as planned. Suggesting guidelines: The researcher suggests that all projects under the Ministry of Public Health that have been delayed should put into plan to expedite the operation according to the current situation and if the project cannot continue, budget should be transferred to other projects under the Integrated Readiness Plan for Aging Society instead so that the annual budget has been allocated for the most benefit way possible to the healthcare system and future for the people.
