THE COMPARISON OF ORGANIZATION SATISFACTION BETWEEN EXECUTIVES AND OFFICERS OF BAN DUEA SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, MUEANG NONG KHAI DISTRICT, NONG KHAI PROVINCE

Abstract

Abstract
This research article aimed to 1) study personnel organization satisfaction in
terms of personal characteristics including a) personal feelings toward their work and
organization; b) relationship with co workers at various levels; c) leadership including
their leader s characters and leading styles; d) organization policy including
compensation and welfare that the organization provided for their employees, and e)
organization environment including the work atmosphere, tools, and equipment. 2) To
compare satisfaction bet ween executives and officers. Th is is a quantitative approach.
Data were collected from 48 Ban Duea Subdistrict Municipality staff , with 10 executives
and 38 officers. A questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. The statistics used
for data analysi s were population mean, population standard deviation, and t test.
The results of the study found that 1) the overall satisfaction of Ban Duea
Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Nong Khai District, Nong Khai Province personnel, was
at a high level ( μ = 2.6 4, σ = 0.54) with the relationship aspect was at the highest and
environment aspect was at the lowest. Executives had the highest satisfaction in
personal characteristics, while officers had the highest satisfaction in relationships. Both
groups had the lo west satisfaction in the organization environment. 2) The satisfaction

comparison results between the executive group and the officer group demonstrated
