Abstract
Abstract
This research article aims to: 1) study the current conditions, desired conditions, and needs related to the growth mindset of school administrators, and 2) develop guidelines for enhancing the growth mindset of school administrators under the jurisdiction of the Nong Khai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The research employed a mixed-method approach. The population consisted of 269 school administrators and teachers. Research instruments included questionnaires and interviews, with a discrimination index ranging from 0.67 to 1.00 and Cronbach's alpha coefficient at 0.96.
The findings revealed that the current conditions were at a moderate level, with the highest average in the aspect of commitment to self-improvement and the lowest average in creating challenges for oneself. In the desired conditions, the overall level was the highest, with the highest average in perseverance in overcoming obstacles and the lowest average in finding inspiration for work. The overall necessity index (PNI_Modified) ranged from 0.371 to 0.382, with the highest necessity in perseverance in overcoming obstacles (PNI_Modified = 0.382) and the lowest in finding inspiration for work (PNI_Modified = 0.371). The development guidelines for administration encompass five aspects: perseverance in overcoming obstacles through systematic problem-solving planning, creating challenges for oneself by promoting participation in strategic planning, learning from others' critiques by allowing teachers to reflect on problems constructively, commitment to self-improvement through the application of information technology in work processes, and finding inspiration by expressing positive opinions, being open-minded, and fostering good relationships within the organization.
