THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE LUANG PHOR PHRA SAI LEARNING CENTER SYSTEM (WAT PHO CHAI), NONG KHAI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research article aims to: 1) study the body of knowledge regarding the development of the Luang Pho Phra Sai Learning Center system in Nong Khai Province, 2) assess the needs related to the development of the Luang Pho Phra Sai Learning Center system in Nong Khai Province, 3) develop the Luang Pho Phra Sai Learning Center system in Nong Khai Province, 4) test the developed system of the Luang Pho Phra Sai Learning Center in Nong Khai Province, and 5) evaluate and certify the quality of the developed system by experts. This study is research and development (R&D), conducted in five steps. The sample group consisted of 34 participants who joined the activities.

The research findings revealed that: 1) The body of knowledge regarding the development of the Luang Pho Phra Sai Learning Center system encompasses five aspects: management, infrastructure, learning resources, services, and networking. 2) The needs assessment indicated that the overall demand was at a high level, with an average score of 4.56, achieving the highest level across all aspects. 3) Data analysis and synthesis led to the creation of the "Wat Pho Chai 5S SYSTEM," which includes the following components: S1 – Creativity, S2 – Substance, S3 – Serenity (สงบ), S4 – Mindfulness, and S5 – Awareness. 4) The trial implementation of the activities showed that the overall suitability was high. The learning center was deemed appropriate, the activities were beneficial to participants, practical for daily life, diverse, and customizable based on participants' needs. 5) The evaluation and improvement process revealed the highest overall quality. When assessed by individual aspects, the order of importance was as follows: usefulness, suitability, accuracy, and feasibility.
