Abstract
Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the level of creative leadership of school administrators, 2) to study the level of innovative thinking skill of teachers, and 3) to develop and validate the consistency of causal model of creative leadership of school administrators affecting innovative thinking skill of teachers with the empirical data. The sample group consisted of 165 administrators and teachers under Phichit Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sampling method used was multi-stage sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.941. Data analysis using mean, standard deviation, and structural equation modeling analysis.
The research found that 1) The level of creative leadership of school administrators was rated at the highest level. 2) The level of innovative thinking skill of teachers was rated at a high level. 3) The development and validation of the causal model of creative leadership of school administrators affecting innovative thinking skill of teachers under Phichit Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 revealed that the structural equation model is consistent with the empirical data. ( = 41.347, /df = 1.378, df = 30, p-value = 0.081, CFI = 0.993, TLI = 0.989, RMSEA = 0.048, SRMR = 0.025) Creative leadership of school administrators had a direct influence on innovative thinking skill of teachers with an influence size of 0.903, statistically significant at the .01 level. Both components of the structural equation model exhibited structural validity. The factor loadings of creative leadership of school administrators ranged from 0.832 to 0.912, the indicators and components explained between 69.20% and 83.20% of the variance. The factor loadings of innovative thinking skill of teachers ranged from 0.726 to 0.913, the indicators and components explained between 52.70% and 83.30% of the variance.
