This research aimed to 1) develop and determine the efficiency of an Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) skill training set for vocational certificate students in the Automotive Program and 2) compare students’ learning achievement using the ABS skill training set with the predetermined criteria. The study employed a research and development (R&D) design consisting of four phases: studying the current problems in teaching automotive chassis work, designing and developing the skill training set, evaluating its efficiency, and examining students’ learning achievement after using the set. The sample consisted of 20 first-year vocational certificate students in the Automotive Program at Wichian Buri Vocational College, enrolled in the second semester of the 2024 academic year, selected through cluster random sampling. The research instruments included the ABS skill training set, an achievement test, and a media suitability evaluation form.

The results revealed that the developed ABS skill training set was rated at the highest level of suitability (M = 4.71, S.D. = 0.17), particularly in terms of content relevance and learning activities. The efficiency of the training set (E1/E2) was 83.40/85.86, exceeding the established standard of 80/80, indicating its effectiveness in both the learning process and outcomes. The comparison of post-learning achievement showed that students achieved a mean score of 16.85 with a standard deviation of 0.81, significantly higher than 80% of the total score at the .05 level of significance (t = 92.71, p = 0.00). These findings suggest that the ABS skill training set effectively enhanced students’ learning achievement and is appropriate for use in teaching automotive chassis systems at the vocational education level.
