Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the management of Nakhonchum Estate Cooperative Limited, Songtham Sub-district, Mueang District Kamphaeng Phet Province and 2) to study the factors which promoted the management of Nakhonchum Estate Cooperative Limited, to be the provincial outstanding estate cooperative.
The first step, the informants consisted of 18 experts in the management of Estate Cooperative including 1 manager of Nakhonchum Estate Cooperative and 17 members of Nakhonchum Estate Cooperative. The second step was to study the factors which promoted the management of Nakhonchum Estate Cooperative Limited to be the provincial outstanding estate cooperative. The samples consisted of 987 members of Nakhonchum Estate Cooperative. The research instruments were a questionnaire and an interview. The data were analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The results revealed that 1) the management of Nakhonchum Estate Cooperative Limited, Sangtham Sub-district was in default on debt payment because of low price of agricultural products. For materials, it was found that the materials were sufficient. For management, it was found that the cooperative planned for the production. The marketing plan was good. Planning could be operated, so the members could increase incomes. 2) The factors promoting the management of Nakhonchum Estate Cooperative Limited to be the provincial outstanding estate cooperative were at the high level. The highest mean was man factor. The related persons were knowledgeable, sacrificeable, and honest. The following factors were money. The members borrowed and deposited money continuously. This operation made the estate cooperative become the provincial outstanding estate cooperative.
